Idea 1: The Vivid Festival – Lights. Music. Ideas.
Highlight: Head to the Museum of Contemporary Art for live music showcases, film premieres, industry social events and night tours.

Location: Burnie Arts & Function Centre.
Highlight: “Gene Peterson, goes head to head with Adam Page. As each artist attempts to out-play the other with their multitude of musical abilities, they continually record their music into a loop pedal, creating the aural illusion of an entire band playing live!”

Hi Bob,

Because Perth isn’t celebrating the Queen’s Birthday they don’t have a long weekend – so I haven’t included an event guide. But I do believe the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival (http://hraff.org.au/city/perth/) is on in Perth. Check it out.
